| PROJECT STEPS |
| Vista Pacific has helped different US companies source different products from China. However, many projects for sourcing manufacturing products from China have similar major steps. According to our experience, a typical new sourcing project will include the following major steps: |
1. Initial meeting between Vista Pacific and the customer to evaluate the possibility of mutual beneficial partnership. |
2. The customer identifies products to be sourced from China. Typically, the products can be sourced from China are labor intensive in manufacturing, have certain annual quantity and dollar value, are easy to be shipped by ocean, etc. |
3. The customer provides technical package to Vista Pacific including drawings, product specifications, product working conditions, critical quality requirement, monthly/annual quantity, etc. |
4. Vista Pacific conducts a RFQ process to find Chinese factories with the best quality, price, lead time, and payment terms. |
5. Vista Pacific provides a comprehensive quotation package to the customer. |
6. The customer approves the quotation package and places a P/O to Vista Pacific for tooling and samples. |
7. Vista Pacific arranges tooling and sample production and sends the samples to the customer. |
8. The customer approves the samples. |
9. Meeting between Vista Pacific and the customer to finalize the terms of the sourcing contract including price, lead time, payment terms, manufacturing process, quality inspection procedures, etc. |
10. Vista Pacific and the customer sign the sourcing contract. |
11. The customer places a P/O to Vista Pacific for formal production. |
12. Vista Pacific coordinates the production process, implements quality control program, performs quality inspections, keeps critical documents, controls drawing and document revision, manages logistics details, and ships the products to the customer. |
